Update: Winners announced in our AndroidTO! contest!

Update: We have selected the winners and those who scored a ticket should have received an email.

Here’s a cool little contest for those of you in Toronto. We have four tickets to give away to AndroidTO, the country’s largest Android-focused developer conference, and certainly the coolest thing next to being in San Francisco each year for Google I/O.

This year’s AndroidTO will be held on Thursday, October 17th from 8:00am to 4:15pm at the Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Toronto. There will be four tracks, each with their own unique Android focus: Developers; Designers; Mobile Business; and Gaming.

Speakers include Untether.tv’s Rob Woodbridge, Rogers’ Dave Robinson, Wattpad’s Orrie Shannon, and BNOTIONS’ Greg Carron and Matthew Patience.

The day promises to be packed full of Android goodness, from socializing with other addicts to learning how to improve code, product strategies and, of course, lots of Android swag. Sponsors include Rogers, BNOTIONS, Samsung, Sony, DX3 and OK Grow.

Each ticket is valued at $99, and we have four to give away. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below and we’ll pick four at random. Contest closes this coming Tuesday, October 8th, and we’ll mail out the tickets shortly thereafter. Please only leave a comment if you plan on A) coming to the event (tickets cannot be resold) and B) live in or near Toronto.

Good luck to all who enter!

Update: AndroidTO has just sent out a press release noting some impressive prizes. Kinda puts our contest here to shame, but apparently Google, Rogers, Samsung and Sony have stepped up to giveaway well over $1 million in prizes to those who attend:

– $1 Million in Google Cloud Platform Credits
– 3 smartphones including the Moto X and LG G2 from Rogers
– A Xperia Z1 smartphone and Xperia Z Ultra tablet from Sony
– Collectable Android Figurines from Mindzai
