WestJet has taken to Android and released an app that will make travelling much easier. The WestJet app for Android is now available via Google Play, works with any device running OS 4.0 and higher, but is “optimized for Samsung Galaxy S3 (4.1) and Samsung Galaxy S4 (4.2).”
As for the features, users will be able to check in up to 24 hours before departure, view flight status for both arrival and departure times, reference travel info such as service fees and baggage allowance.
WestJet also teased some future updates, stating, “It won’t be long before you’ll be able to use our app to book new flights, view upcoming trips and more.”
