LG G Pro 2 officially announced and destined for Korea

Considering LG Canada has yet to launch the G Pro, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see its successor the G Pro 2. LG has just announced this new flagship for Korea and will show it off at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Specs have been improved over the first generation G Pro, plus it includes a “state-of-the-art display and new UX features to take user convenience to the next level.” The G Pro 2 has a 5.9-inch 1080p IPS display, 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM, 3200 mAh battery, 13MP camera with OIS that shoots in 4K, sports a 2.1MP front-facing camera and runs Android OS 4.4 KitKat. LG has also included KnockON feature, something the company previously committed to bring to its devices.

LG noted in the press release that “Availability of G Pro 2 in markets outside of Korea has not yet been determined.”
