Google I/O 2014 scheduled for June 25th and 26th

Android enthusiasts who are pining to possibly see the next version of the OS, or learn about a few new devices, can officially mark June 25th and 26th off on their calendar. Google has scheduled Google I/O 2014 to take place on these dates.

Sundar Pichai, Google’s SVP of Android, took to Google+ and announced that the event will once again take place in San Francisco at Moscone West, or for those unable to attend can hop onto the live stream. Pichai indicated that more details about registration will be shared later in March. Google I/O 2013 event sold out within minutes and left some people disappointed, but this year Google is “implementing a new system, where you can submit your interest to attend Google I/O 2014. Successful applicants will then be randomly selected and notified shortly thereafter.”
