WIND Mobile launching the Moto G on Thursday, March 27th for $229 outright

WIND Mobile is launching the excellent, low-cost Android device, the Moto G, this Thursday, March 27th.

The company announced that it will make available Motorola’s entry-level Android device, which runs a quad-core 1.4Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an HSPA+ baseband, a 2070mAh battery, a 4.5-inch 720p display and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

At $229, WIND is launching the Moto G at a price slightly more expensive than the $200/$150 TELUS and Koodo versions respectively, due to the 16GB included internal storage compared to the others’ 8GB. The price decreases when paired with a tab: $129 on a WINDtab 30, and $0 on the WINDtab 40 and 50.
