Apple releases iOS 7.1.1 with Touch ID recognition improvements and bug fixes

AppleĀ released iOS 7.1.1 today, iterating on the 7.1 release from late March.

While iOS 7.1 was more about ironing out the design and performance issues from the initial release, its successor aims at fixing specific issues outstanding from that expansive update.

According to Apple’s change log, there are “Further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition,” along with a bug fix for a keyboard responsiveness issue.

Other bug fixes and performance improvements are also expected in this release.

To update, head to Settings/General/Software Update on your iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c, 5s, iPad 2 or later and iPod touch 5th gen.
