2014 Canadian Telecom Summit starts June 16th, opening keynote is from Rogers CEO Guy Laurence

The 2014 Canadian Telecom Summit is coming up and this year it’ll be another spectacular experience. The event is happening June 16th to June 18th and this time around we’re in for a few treats. The opening keynote should be interesting as it’ll be one of the first public appearances by Guy Laurence, who’s the newly appointed CEO of Rogers. In addition, here are some of the Canadian heavy hitters that will be speaking:

– Janet Kennedy, President of Microsoft Canada
– Peter Menzies Vice-Chairman, Telecommunications, CRTC
– David Fuller, Chief Marketing Officer, TELUS
– Pierre Dion, President and CEO, Quebecor
– Anthony Lacavera, Chairman & CEO, Wind Mobile

Some of the more interesting breakout sessions include “Rage of the Machine,” “The Digitization of Canada’s Economy,” and “Competition in Telecom.”
