Sony adding more premium content for Xperia Z2 users to its Xperia Lounge suite

Sony is set to use premium content and savings as a way to incentivize sales of its upcoming Xperia Z2. Like Samsung’s Galaxy Gifts program, Sony is partnering with other services like Box, Evernote, Bitcasa and OfficeSuite to offer trials of those services with the purchase of a new device.

Sony is already making it attractive to buy a Xperia Z2 by including eight free PlayStation Mobile games and six free movies through Video Unlimited, but starting today, Sony is adding, through its Xperia Lounge app, OfficeSuite Pro, 50GB to Box, three months of Evernote Premium, 1TB of Bitcasa backup for three months, 10 Xperia themes, one month of Social Live Premium, and three currently unnamed games and apps.

The Bell Xperia Z2 is also bundling Michael Jackson’s XSCAPE album with the device and, until, July 31st, these above services.

While there is crossover with many of Samsung’s premium services — Box, Evernote, Bitcasa —  these are well-used apps and will be valuable to many potential buyers.
