Pebble says there is ‘breathtaking demand’ for Pebble Steel, now back in stock

Pebble has become one of the pioneers in the smartwatch space. The company has only been in operation for a few years, created and led by Canadian-born Eric Migicovsky.

Pebble announced in March that its sales exceeded 400,000 Pebble smart watches since January 2013 and revenues hit $60 million. In addition, Pebble has seem to have built a loyal following and developed its own app store where they have over 12,000 developers and 1,000 available apps.

Its latest product, Pebble Steel, was a solid addition. This brought a bit more class and style to its offering. The company quickly ran out of inventory and while they are shy on giving specific sales number, Pebble notes that they are working at “breathtaking demand.” The good news is that backorders are a thing of the past and stock is now available for all. The Matte Black and Brushed Stainless can be purchased via Pebble’s online store and are both priced at $249. In addition, Pebble says they’ve “improved turnaround time from order to delivery.”
