Another picture of the BlackBerry Q30 (Windermere) leaks, shows backing similar to the Q10

BlackBerry will be announcing its quarterly results tomorrow and hopefully shed a bit more light on a future device rollout. Much of the focus has been on reviving the enterprise customer base, unveiling the Internet Of Things focussed Project Ion, and the rollout of eBBM.

John Chen, BlackBerry’s CEO, hinted towards a trio of high-end devices and we’ve already heard that the BlackBerry Classic will launch in Q3. Another device with a unique twist is the BlackBerry Q30 (Windermere). This leaked online a couple weeks ago and reportedly sports a physical 3-row QWERTY keyboard with “touch sensitive” keys that operates by simply swiping over them. The images revealed a design similar to other Berry devices with the stainless steel frets between the keys. However, the backing was less than desirable as it resembled the entry-level Q5, but a new picture has surfaced that shows the Q30 will have the silver band continue around to the back and the camera.

There are no confirmed details of when this will be available. Previous reports indicated that the Q30 Windermere will run BlackBerry 10 OS, have a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 × 1440 (457 PPI), quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974 processor with 3GB RAM, 13MP camera with a 2MP front-facing camera, non-removable 3450 mAh battery.
