Roam Mobility says customers will connect to LTE speeds effective July 7th, new Unlimited data roaming plans are coming

Vancouver-based Roam Mobility has slowly gained the trust of Canadians who travel south by offering affordable voice, talk and text roaming plans. The company hitches onto T-Mobile’s network and customers can reach theoretical download speeds of “up to 42 Mbps” throughout the United States, but today Roam has announced the rollout of its 4G LTE network in the USA. The network partnership will go live effective July 7th and those customers who plan to use Roam will have access to faster LTE data speeds.

Emir Aboulhosn, CEO of Roam Mobility, said, “Our 4G LTE Network doesn’t just bring faster data speeds. It’s the first of many new services we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks that we expect to have a big impact on Canadian roaming services. Our new plans will include features such as unlimited data, easier plan scheduling, international long-distance calling, and lower introductory pricing.”

There was no detail as to how the price plans will change, but Roam currently offers various plans that range from $3.95/day to $89.95/30 days with 9GB data.

LTE services will be available in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Miami, and many others.
