Facebook Messenger is now optimized for the iPad

Facebook has updated Messenger for iOS with iPad compatibility, making it possible for chatters and callers to take advantage of the tablet’s full screen real estate.

The app takes advantage of the iPad’s ability to display two frames on screen, so the existing list of conversations stays on the left while the active one is scrollable on the right. Users can also make VoIP audio and video calls, send stickers and do practically everything else the iPhone version already does — just more spaciously.

Facebook won’t comment on whether the same upgrade will be given to the Android app, but considering the main Facebook app still doesn’t look great on Android tablets, we’re not going to hold our collective breaths.
