MTS CEO to retire later this year

MTS has started looking for a new CEO to lead its company into the next generation. Pierre Blouin, announced today that he’ll be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of Manitoba Telecom Services sometime “later this year.”

Pierre Blouin, a former Bell exec, started this role back in December of 2005. The Board of Directors have already started its search for a new CEO for his successor. Blouin stated, “I am very proud of what we have accomplished over the past decade, and felt that this was the right time to transition to new leadership. I am grateful for the support and dedication of our Board, management team and MTS Allstream’s outstanding employees, and I leave with full confidence in the company’s future success.”
