Microsoft OneNote for Android adds full tablet support, handwriting features

Microsoft updated its excellent OneNote for Android app today with full tablet support and a better handwriting experience, “just in time for back to school.”

The app now allows users to take notes with a stylus or finger, either annotating on top of existing content or on a new lined page. This feature will work with all Android phones or tablets, but is perfect for Samsung’s S Pen-enabled Note series.

The UI has also been updated to conform better to Google’s Android guidelines, and Microsoft has taken the time to optimize it for larger horizontal tablets.

The app also now supports LG’s new G3 flagship, which is a nice addition.
