During the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus event Apple announced that iOS 8 will officially be available to download on September 17th. The new software sports a number of new enhancements, including mobile payments (iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in the United States), new camera features, and custom keyboards.
iOS 8 is compatible with iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPad 2, iPad 3 (‘the new iPad’), iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPad Mini with Retina Display and the fifth-generation iPod touch.
