BlackBerry Classic Q20 leaked on video, shows ‘belt’ row of function keys

Not all of the Internet’s attention is on the BlackBerry Passport release tomorrow. Making the rounds this morning is an 8-minute video that was leaked online and showcases the BlackBerry Classic Q20, which represents a resurgence of the iconic physical QWERTY keyboard and one-time popular “belt” of function keys (call, menu, trackpad, back, and end buttons).

BlackBerry has already announced that the Classic will be “crafted from premium materials and designed for reliability and durability.” The video tells us that the Classic will feature a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 720 (291ppi), runs BB10 OS 10.3.1, with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2515mAh battery. Overall dimensions are reportedly 5.11 x 2.83 x 0.35in (130 x 72 x 9mm).

The Classic Q20 is expected to be available late November or early December. Previous rumours suggested that Drake will be the global spokesperson for the smartphone, though that has not been confirmed.
