Microsoft Canada on Thursday night teased fans of its Facebook page with cryptic image of the Surface tablet, a couple of keyboard accessories, and a lot of questions marks.
Though guesses in the comments ranged from Surface Pro 4 to Surface 3 (with Windows RT). The reality is a lot less exciting. Instead, Microsoft is having a flash sale on Surface keyboards on its online store.
The sale is going on right now and includes a $50 discount on the Type Cover 2, the Touch Cover 2, and the Power Cover. These Touch Cover 2 and Type Cover 2 are compatible with the Surface, Surface 2, Surface Pro, and Surface Pro 2. The Power Cover is compatible with all second generation Surface devices.
Missing is any kind of support for the latest tablet, the Surface Pro 3, which launched with a new Type Cover with improvements to the trackpad among other things.
The sale is valid until 11:59pm PT tonight of while supplies last and appears to be online only. There’s also a limit of five units per customer.
