HTC One M8 users to receive EYE Experience update today on Rogers, Bell and TELUS

Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management, has some good news for One M8 users across our fair country. The EYE Experience update, which brings a number of camera-based improvements along with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, will be rolling out starting today at 9am PT / 12pm ET.

We focused on the update in our Desire Eye hands-on, which includes an improved Selfie mode, as well as Split Capture (using both cameras at the same time), Crop-Me-In, Photo Booth and more.

The update is rolling out to Bell, Rogers and TELUS users first, and should come to SaskTel shortly thereafter. The EYE Experience update is also slated to come to the HTC One M7 and One Mini at a later date.

Update:Rogers users are now reporting the update has arrived on the One M8.

Update #2: HTC One M8 users on Bell and TELUS should now be seeing the Android 4.4.4 and Eye Experience update on their device. Check Applications >> Settings >> About Phone >> Software update. – IH
