Yellow Pages has launched a new Canada411 smartphone application for iOS and Android users.
The Canada411 app allows users to perform reverse number searches as well as offering click-to-dial search results. You can search for local businesses via proximity search, name, or category and the app will also show user ratings for businesses and the most popular businesses nearby. The iOS version is compatible with iOS 7 or later, while the Android version requires Android 4.0 and up.
This app is not to be confused with the 411.ca app, which appears pretty much identical in functionality. That app added the ability to check into businesses and leave reviews in September and is owned by 411.ca.
