App updates galore! Every week, developers push out updates to your favourite applications. There’s just too many for us to dedicate an individual post to every app, especially when the updates are often very minor or just to add one specific feature.
This week was a rather quiet one on the app front. We saw some minor updates to apps like TuneIn and Duolingo, both of which got updated for Material Design. The fact that it’s a holiday in the United States probably had a lot to do with that. Things have been quiet and the internet is all caught up in Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That’s not to say there were no updates at all, though. Check out the lists below for updates to your favourite apps!

TuneIn — Support for Android TV, Material Design UI, lock screen enhancements, bug fixes and Chromecast support
Vine — The ability to receive a notification when your favourite Vine users post a new video.
Monument Valley: Forgotten Shores — Eight new chapters for Android users.
Pinterest — Streamlined UI, improvements to performance, simplified navigation.
Instagram — Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Facebook Groups — Play Store debut following Facebook Groups announcement last week.
Dropbox — Support for integration with Microsoft Office finally arrives
Skype — Support for picture-in-picture video calling while outside the Skype application
Duolingo — Updated for Material Design UI
LinkedIn — Improved navigation thanks to changes to the notification centre.
iOS
Twitter — Minor improvements
Kik — Redesigned UI, ability to mute notifications, easier to find people.
Skype — Non-descript “general improvements.”
Threes! — Major bug fixes, tweaks to UI.
Monument Valley — Special Product Red chapter.
Paper — Support for push notifications.
Over —Product Red fonts and artwork.
Vine — The ability to receive a notification when your favourite Vine users post a new video.
Dropbox — Support for integration with Microsoft Office finally arrives
SwiftKey —Punctuation slider for iPhone, better localization, stability and performance improvements, general bug fixes
Windows Phone
Facebook Beta — Updated design, support for video upload and Messenger, ability to edit comments, improvements to uploading and tagging, performance improvements, and various bug fixes.
Threema — First appearance on Windows Phone Store. Threema offers end-to-end encryption of messages.
All Recipes — Support for Cortana, easier access to favourite recipes, and step-by-step videos.
Masks — Updated UI/UX, 70 new Masks, ability to flip and filter background and layer images, cropping tool, before and after comparison, ability to share to other apps (like Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook).
Photosynth — high-res capture, improved stitching.
