Rovio, the company behind the wildly successful Angry Birds franchise, has announced a brand new Angry Birds title that will initially only be available to Canadians.
The game is called Angry Birds: Under Pigstruction and has soft launched in Canada for iOS users. Rather than introduce a new theme, Rovio hasĀ upped the difficulty by introducing multi-stage levels that willĀ present players with new constructions when they least expect it. There will also be new spells, the ability to challenge other players, and Boss Piggies that will require additional fire power to beat.
Rovio didn’t talk about when we can expect a full launch or when Canadian Android users can get in on the fun, but this isn’t the first time the company has soft launched a new title in Canada. A couple of months ago, Canadians were the first to get access to Angry Birds Stella Pop!, a bubble popping game not unlike Candy Crush. That soft launch was iOS-only as well and has yet to launch worldwide.
