New LG G4 renders show off curved body

Earlier this week, we got a peek at what OnLeaks claims will be LG’s newest flagship ‘G’ phone. The company already launched the sleek and stylish G Flex 2 at CES and, if yesterday’s renders are anything to go by, the new G4 will also feature a curved design.

OnLeaks released some new renders today through Nowhereelse.fr. These pictures feature the same device from yesterday’s image and show the phone from all angles, confirming that, yes, it does look very similar to the G Flex 2, though perhaps not quite as curved.  Nowherelese.fr reports that the phone will feature a slightly curved display panel inside a 9.9mm thick body with a protruding camera module (the new norm, apparently) and dual LED flash.

During Mobile World Congress, LG confirmed that the device will feature a brand new UX with significant enough changes that it will warrant its own announcement. The company also promised a design overhaul for the phone itself, which would explain the move towards a curved display.

The latest reports have the G4 pegged for an April unveiling. Current rumours say the device will run on a Snapdragon 810 (just like the G Flex 2) with 3GB of RAM, and a 5.5-inch QHD display.
