Galaxy S6 gets teardown treatment, reveals glass back can be shattered

Samsung’s latest devices, comprised of metal and glass, represent a new direction for the company. If the inside of the Galaxy S6 interests you, this 17-minute video will serve its purpose. A teardown of Samsung’s is here thanks to ETrade Supply, proving the device is a challenge to take apart thanks to its sealed battery and glass back.

Inside the 5.1-inch GS6 is an Exynos 7 processor, 3GB RAM and a non user-removable battery 2,550mAh battery that is challenging to detach, but it can be accomplished. The lack of visible screws and the surprising amount of adhesive sealing the edges together combine to make the Galaxy S6 difficult to disassemble.
