1Password now available for Windows Phone in alpha

AgileBits’ excellent 1Password now has a home on both Windows and Windows Phone in a new alpha version released for both platforms today.

While Windows already has a pretty robust version of 1Password, the one available for Windows Phone was dejected and lacking in features. This universal release is set to correct that course.

Previously only available in closed beta, the 1Password Windows Phone alpha attempts to bring feature parity to Microsoft’s platform, including the ability to synchronize with Dropbox and receive one-time passwords, like its Android and iOS counterparts.

1Password is one of those essential apps that becomes the glue around which people make their platform decisions. For me, having 1Password onboard makes it a lot easier to switch over to Windows Phone, since it has become so heavily integrated into my daily routine.
