Latest Android distribution stats put Lollipop around 10%, KitKat at 40%

The latest stats marks some improvement for Lollipop, which now presents 9.7% of devices visiting the Google Play Store, up from 5% from last month. A number of high-profile devices, including the Galaxy S5 and Note 4, were upgraded to Lollipop in the past month, along with newer flagships launching with the software like the Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9. In addition, several other tablets and smartphones recently received the latest version of Android during the last four weeks.
