Nokia planned to release a smartwatch called “Moonraker”

A Microsoft employee uploaded images of the watch called Moonraker to Tumblr, which is where infamous device leaker Evan Blass found them. Microsoft decision to shelve the project came from the fact that it was already working on its wearable, the Microsoft Band. According to the Verge, a suite of sensors allowed the device to smartly manage its display. It also included a step counter and apps for managing email, phone and text messages, as well as a collection of customization options for the watch face.
