Sony has started to rollout the 5.1.1 Lollipop upgrade to Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet owners.
The fine print at the bottom of its announcement notes that “timing and availability may vary by market and/or carrier. Unfortunately, nothing has arrived on Canadian devices yet, but this news is congruent with what Rogers recently showed on its OS update schedule. Check to see if your device has the update and let us know: Menu >> Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Update.
In addition, Sony says the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra are next up to receive Lollipop, which should arrive in the “coming weeks.”
