AfterĀ taking its first step into the world of mobile technology with the release of the Canadian Tire Money app last year,Ā Canadian Tire is testing a new way to interact with its customers.
In an effort to capitalize on the popularity of Android and drive more customers into its stores, Canadian Tire is currently experimenting in-store cards within Google Now. Android users who are within 100 meters of one of the store’s locations will see a set of cards that provide information on store hours, one’s Canadian Tire money balance and any ongoing sales.
In addition, there is also an option to call the store, visit its website, or download the app with one click.
