Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P naming and packaging revealed in latest leaked images

Nexus 5

A new set of images has leaked out that give further confirmation of the two new Nexus smartphones that Google will be announcing on September 29th.

According to Android Police, these two images are what LG and Huawei will come to market with for the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. The 5.2-inch LG Nexus 5X is a follow-up to the LG Nexus 5 in 2013 and the packaging seems to ensure the naming is accurate with the graphic designed in an X. In addition, Huawei’s 5.7-inch Nexus 6P follows a similar path and shows the design on the square box with an P on the front.

LG is expected to announce the Nexus 5X with a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 2700mAh battery and 16GB/32GB of storage. Specs of the Nexus 6P have it possibly sporting a 5.7-inch QHD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor, fingerprint scanner, 3,500mAh battery, as well as a USB Type-C connector. Both new Nexus smartphones are tipped to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

We’ll bring you all the finer details as they unfold next Tuesday.
