Samsung is testing Marshmallow on several flagship smartphones

Android 6.0 is currently available on the Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9, and Nexus Player, and, via an unofficial method, on the Nexus 4. In addition, several manufacturers, including Sony, Motorola and HTC, have also announced that they plan to bring Marshmallow to some of their devices.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is currently testing Android Marshmallow on several of its latest flagship devices, namely the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, and Galaxy Note Edge.

While it’s an unofficial list, the document highlights a number of carriers around the world, including Bell here in Canada. However, it’s safe to say that, for the most part, the phones listed above will receive Marshmallow once the update has gone through the requisite rounds of carrier certification.
