We’ve confirmed that the fourth-generation of the Apple TV is now available in-store at Apple’s Canadian retail locations. The set-top box is also expected to be sold at Best Buy in Canada, but it’s unclear when the new Apple TV will actually land on the store’s shelves.
The 32GB Apple TV is priced at $199 CAD and the 64GB costs $269 CAD. In terms of online orders, Apple’s new set-top box has been available for order since October 26 with estimates expecting a Friday, October 30th delivery.
In other Apple TV related news, Siri search for Apple music is set to soon launch on the Apple TV.
Update – November 4th: Even though you can order the new Apple TV through Apple and also purchase the set-top box at Apple Stores, Best Buy Canada has started taking pre-orders at the same price with delivery expected to arrive at your doorstep on November 10th. The cost is $199 CAD for the 32GB version and the 64GB costs $269 CAD.
