Nexus 5X is coming to Canadian carriers on November 10

The LG-made Nexus 5X was officially announced on September 29th and Canadians who pre-ordered through the Google Store have been enjoying it for well over a week now. However, those interested in purchasing the Nexus 5X through a Canadian carrier have been met with the enticing “coming soon” notices.

According to an internal Telus document we received, the Nexus 5X will officially launch Tuesday, November 10th. The majority of Canadian carriers — including Bell, Telus, Videotron, SaskTel, Wind Mobile and Eastlink — will also release the 5.2-inch Android smartphone on the same date. It’s unclear if Rogers will stock the device.

As for pricing, we’ve been informed the 2-year contract cost at Telus will be $150 on a two-year contract and $630 outright. It also seems the carriers will only stock the 16GB carbon black colour. We don’t have pricing from other carriers at this point.

The Google Store is selling the 16GB Nexus 5X for $499, and $559 for the 32GB model.

The LTE-enabled Nexus 5X comes with a 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2,700 mAh battery, 12.3-megapixel camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner, and a 2,700mAh battery.

Update: We have received details on Wind Mobile’s plans. The carrier will also release the 16GB Nexus 5X on November 10th and has priced it at $599 outright and as low as $49 on the Tab.
