Pizza Hut, Canadian Tire and London Drugs among the new stores that now accept Apple Pay

Apple Pay

It’s not quite the addition of MasterCard, Visa and Interac, but several retail chains across Canada have been added to list of places that now accept payment for goods and services via Apple Pay.

Headlining the list are Canadian retail institutions like Canadian Tire, London Drugs and Mark’s (Work Warehouse). Pizza Hut now also accepts payments via Apple Pay.

Moreover, Apple updated its coming soon list, which now includes e-commerce sites Etsy and Zulily, as well as clothing store Zara.

As iPhoneinCanada notes, even though these new retail chains are listed on Apple’s website, the employees that work there may not be familiar with Apple’s payments solution just yet, so prepare to explain what you’re trying to do when you start waving your iPhone around.

Visit Apple’s website for a full list of retailers that accept Apple Pay.
