Moto G (3rd Gen) update to Marshmallow now available in Canada

Quick update to those who have the Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen). Various carriers, including Virgin Mobile, have tipped us that the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now available to download. The 5-inch Moto G (3rd Gen) was officially launched in Canada back in July 2015 with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

If you’re not seeing a prompt to download the update, you can check for it manually. Navigate to Menu > Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update.
