Virgin Mobile is adding the Nexus 5X to its lineup

The Nexus 5X recently received a reduction in price to $389 at the Google Store, which is a significant shift from the $499 price tag the smartphone launched at in October.

Several Canadian carriers include the popular 5.2-inch Marshmallow-powered Android available in their lineup – Bell, Telus, Videotron, SaskTel, Wind Mobile and Eastlink – and now it’s Virgin Mobile’s turn to join.

According to an internal document sent to MobileSyrup, Virgin will be adding the Nexus 5X to its line-up on February 4th. The price has not yet been revealed but sources at the carrier say it should be available to members for $579 CAD outright, and between $149 CAD to $199 CAD with the company’s Gold plan.
