The Facebook-owned picture and video sharing service announced a small, but very meaningful, update to its user experience today.
Instagram used to display the a user’s picture or video was posted beside a user’s name, but today a timestamp below the comments reveals how many hours or days. In addition, for posts over a week old the actual date is revealed and not just the number of weeks.
