The Galaxy Tab E Lite and Galaxy Tab A 7 are officially available across Canada. Samsung notes both tablets offer “child-friendly interfaces, endless entertainment options and multi-tasking functionality.”
The Galaxy Tab E Lite features a 7-inch 1024×600 pixel display, powered by Android 4.4 (no signs of an upgrade) and a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 2-megapixel camera and a 3,600 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A 7 sports a similar display 7-inch display but comes with a higher resolution of 1280×800 pixels. In addition, the Tab A 7 runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop), 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 5 megapixel camera, with a 4,000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab E Lite comes in white and retails for $149.99, while the Galaxy Tab A 7 is priced at $50 higher for $199.99 and comes in black and white.
