The latest update to the PlayStation 4, version 3.50, will begin rolling out tomorrow, Sony announced this morning.

The update brings with it, among other things, the ability for PC and Mac owners to stream PS4 games from their console to their personal computer. For the time being, games can only be streamed at 720p remotely, not at the PS4’s native 1080p resolution, and users will need to connect a DualShock 4 controller to their computer as there’s no support for keyboard and mouse controls. PS4 owners will be able to download the Windows or OS X app that enables the streaming functionality tomorrow.

The update also adds a number of quality of life improvements to the experience of using the PlayStation Network. For instance, starting tomorrow PS4 users will be able to set their status to “appear offline.”

They will also be able to tell the system to send them a notification when a specific friends logs onto their system. Last but not least, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to add gaming events to their calendar and invite their friends to participate, making it easier to organize things like Destiny raids.
