Sony Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 upgraded to Android Marshmallow in Canada

Sony’s one-time flagships the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 have both received a big update today in Canada. Owners of either of the two 5.2-inch smartphones can now download Android 6.0.1.

This update, according to the changelog, brings enhanced privacy settings, new camera settings, improved battery live, Google Now on Tap, upgraded app permissions manager and Marshmallow’s new Doze battery saving feature.

So far we are hearing that the update is here for Bell and Telus customers. Check your Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 by hitting Menu > Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update.
