Sony’s newest LTE-enabled 5-inch devices have officially launched in Canada.
The flagship Xperia X Performance is available today from Bell, and can be reserved at Rogers with a launch date set for July 14th. The Xperia XA can now be found exclusively at Bell and Virgin Mobile today.
As for pricing, the Xperia X Performance at Bell and Rogers is $699 no-term and $199 on a 2-year term. The Xperia XA is a more affordable choice at $399 outright or $0 on contract at Bell, and on Virgin the cost is similar at $0 on a Gold or Platinum plan or $199.99 on a Silver plan.
The Xperia XA has a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel display, powered by MediaTek’s Helio P10 Octa-core processor, sport a 13MP rear camera with hybrid autofocus, 8MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a 2,300mAh battery.
Wind and Videotron will carry the Xperia X, a version of the X Performance that features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 instead of a Snapdragon 820, though we currently don’t know what the device will be priced at.
