Pokemon Go will launch in Europe and Asia ‘in a few days’

Niantic Labs’ Pokemon Go is current officially available in the U.S, New Zealand and Australia, but it looks like the augmented reality sensation will hit Europe, Japan and other Asian countries in just a few days, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Unfortunately, there’s still no word on an official Canadian release date for the game, though there are relatively simple work arounds to get Pokemon Go in Canada, both on iOS and Android devices. Late last week, Niantic announced that it halted Pokemon Go’s global rollout due to rampant server issues.

While we still don’t know when the game is coming to Canada, the fact that Pokemon Go’s global release has started pushing out again could be an indication a north of the wall release may not be far off.
