LG V20 leaks again courtesy of case maker

LG V20

It was little more than two weeks ago that we got our first look at the upcoming LG V20, and now thanks to case maker Petra we can take another gander at LG’s upcoming Android 7.0 smartphone.

As Phandroid, the website that caught the leaked render, notes, smartphone manufacturers like LG often provide case makers with images and dimensions of a device they plan to release so that the latter can have enough time to manufacture accessories in time for launch of said product. This sometimes leads to, as it did in this case, an unreleased device leaking by accident.

Regardless, these new renders corroborate the ones we saw come out from Android Authority and noted leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer at the start of the month. Similar to the G5, it looks like the V20 will feature a removable battery that is accessible when the user removes the bottom bezel. Note that the perforated back appears to be a part of the case, not the phone itself.

In related V20 news, LG announced today that the smartphone will ship with a pair of headphones designed by Bang & Olufsen. The company previously asaid the V20 will be the first smartphone to feature 32-bit Quad DAC.

LG will unveil the V20 at a special event in San Francisco, California on September 6th, one day prior to the rumoured unveiling of Apple’s next iPhone. LG has already confirmed the smartphone will come to Canada.
