Toronto’s eSports scene gains a racing-simulation arcade

Always wanted to race the Indy 500? RaceSim1, a new racing simulation arcade in Toronto, might be just the place for you.

RaceSim1 features five custom-built cockpits built with real racing car seats, force feedback steering wheels, pedals and a stick shift — all placed in front of separate 49-inch screens. Games on offer include Forza and Project Cars.

An hour in one of the cockpits will run you $30 CAD, while half an hour comes in at $20 and 15 minutes at $10. Those who’d like buy in bulk instead can get a VIP card, and there are also private party rates.

Additionally, the arcade hosts special eSports racing events in which participants can join both from its location at 693 Bloor St. West or from home.
