Moto G5 Plus prototype leaks via European sales listing

The Moto G5 Plus may have just made one of its first appearances online via OLX, a European equivalent of Craigslist or Kijiji. The listing shows what appeared to be a clearly marked prototype with the price set at approximately $500 CAD.

The translated sales text states that the device has a 5.5-inch Full HD (480dpi) display, fingerprint sensor and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Internally, it runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with an Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 3,080 mAh battery. The camera package reportedly features a 13-megapixel rear shooter and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The listing also notes the phone will become officially available in March 2017.

Meanwhile, the accompanying pictures (see gallery above) show a device with a round camera bump similar to Moto’s Z-series, a micro-USB port, textured back and headphone jack.

The current generation Moto G Plus device, the Moto G4 Plus, features a Snapdragon 617 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 3,000 mAh battery and a well-received camera package that stars a 16-megapixel rear shooter.
