Urbery is delivering Ben & Jerry’s to Torontonians this Valentine’s Day

ben & jerry's cookie dough ice cream with spoon - urbery delivery

After a successful pilot in September, Toronto-based grocery delivery app Urbery and Unilever have announced an on-demand Ben & Jerry’s ice cream delivery service for Valentine’s Day that will extend into the summer of 2017.

The offerings include not only B&J classics Cherry Garcia, Half Baked and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but also two non-dairy almond ice cream flavours, PB & Cookies and Coffee Caramel Fudge, which have yet to officially hit Canadian store shelves. The non-dairy flavours are exclusive to those ordering through Urbery until February 27th, 2017.

To order, Toronto residents can head to benandjerry.urbery.com and select a scheduled or same-day delivery to any area with one of the following first three postal code digits: M4X, M4Y, M5A, M5B, M5C, M5E, M5G, M5H, M5J, M5K, M5L, M5S, M5T, M5V, M5W, M5X, M6J, M6K, M6R and M7A.

Unlike the pilot program, the Ben & Jerry’s Facebook chatbot will no longer be an ordering option. Regular pints cost $8.99 CAD, dairy-free cost $9.99 and the delivery fee is $4.99 or free if three or more pints are purchased.

The ice-cream delivery service is available from 12pm to 10pm on Valentine’s Day and 5pm to 10pm Monday to Sunday after February 14th.

Customers can also buy one pint and get one free on Valentine’s Day with the use of promo code “SHARETHELOVE.”
