New The Sims Mobile game heads to iOS and Android

After being a PC exclusive for most of its most life, digital life simulator The Sims is heading to mobile.

The Sims Mobile will be available on both iOS and Android, EA announced on Wednesday. In fact, it’s already available in Brazil and expected to make its way to other countries in the near future.

All the series staples are here. Players can create their own Sims, customize their appearance and design them a homestead worth calling home. Rather than create an entire community, however, The Sims Mobile asks players to focus on a single family. To keep things interesting, it’s possible to follow the same family through multiple generations. Helping Sims from each subsequent generation achieve their career aspirations and personal goals nets them valuable heirlooms and stat boosters.

Of course, this isn’t the first time the almost two decades old franchise has made its way to mobile (that distinction belongs to Sims Freeplay), but it is the first time EA has released a Sims mobile title that more closely adheres to its PC counterpart.
