Pay for Amazon products using cash

A trip to the post office now means you can make cash purchases on Amazon.ca.

Thanks to a partnership between Canada Post, Amazon and Canadian company Payment Source, Amazon members can now load cash into their accounts at the post office.

The process works through Amazon’s Cash service.

Users simply print off a barcode from the Amazon Cash website, take it to a post office, show it to a cashier and load money onto an Amazon account.

The Amazon website also specifies that more retailers will be coming soon.

“The benefits of ecommerce should not be restricted to Canadians with access to a credit card,” said Trevor Cook, CEO of Payment Source, in a November 14th, 2017 media release. “Amazon Cash brings that online shopping experience to everyone.”
