Doogee to launch smartphone with curved screen and 18:9 aspect ratio, says report

doogee smartphone leak

The LG Flex and LG Flex 2 are two smartphones that didn’t feature the greatest specs but offered unique, curved displays.

Unlike the curved displays featured in Samsung’s Galaxy lineup of devices, the LG Flex and LG Flex 2’s screen curves inwards. The inward curve gives the smartphone a curved TV-like appearance. Now, according to often reliable leaker Evan Blass, China-based smartphone manufacturer Doogee is working on a similar curved screen handset.

The curved-screen Doogee smartphone would feature an 18:5:9 aspect ratio, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

While Blass doesn’t mention any of the specifications for the device, if it’s Doogee’s flagship smartphone, it’s likely to feature better specs than the company’s upcoming 6-inch full HD Mix 2.

The Doogee Mi Mix 2 features an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a dual front and rear camera setup and a 4,060mAh battery, meaning this possible leaked device will likely feature better or similar specs.
