New statistics stemming from Apple’sĀ App Store developer support page, revealĀ that 59 percent of iOS devices are now running iOS 11.

iOS 11 adoption statistics were last measured by Apple on November 6th, which indicated a 52 percent installed rate. This means that between November 6th and now there’s been a seven percent increase.

33 percent of iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices are still running iOS 10, while the remaining eight percent are utitilizing an older version of Apple’s mobile operating system

According to the data, the adoption of iOS 11 is slower than previous versions of the operating system. The numbers showcase that iOS 10 was installed on 54 percent of devices as of October of 2016. In comparison, 52 percent are running iOS 11 as of November 2017.

The slightly slower adoption rate could be due to the many recent issues users have reported experiencing with iOS 11. For example, users were unable to type the letter “I,” with the character autocorrecting to the letter ‘A,’ along with a question mark symbol. There was also an issue that caused devices device to randomly crash following Apple’s release of iOS 11.1.

However, both problems have been fixed with the more recent iOS 11.2 update.
