Telus will start selling the Apple Watch Series 3 on December 8th

Apple Watch Series 3 on wrist

Telus will start selling the Apple Watch Series 3, Apple’s first LTE-capable wearable, in-store and online on Friday, December 8th, 2017.

To entice Canadian consumers to pick up Apple’s latest wearable from one of its stores, Telus is offering a special introductory offer to customers until December 31st, 2018. With the purchase of any new Apple Watch Series 3 smartwatch from December 8th until the end of 2017, the carrier will apply a $10 per month credit for three months. However, Telus did specify that this offer is unavailable in Quebec.

In addition, Canadian consumers can get the wearable for $0 upfront at select Telus retail locations across the country when they buy the wearable alongside an iPhone on a two-year Easy Plan.

As we wrote yesterday, adding an Apple Watch to one’s account includes a one-time $20 activation fee and recurring $10 per month service fee. The $10 per month plan provides 1GB of shareable data to a Telus SharePlus or Your Choice plan.

The Apple Watch Series 3 first made its way to Canada via Bell, which started offering Apple Watch specific data plans on September 22nd.

No word yet on when Rogers will start selling the LTE-capable smartwatch.
